Walls Between The Rich And The Poor In Lekki Phase1 Lagos Nigeria.

This is one of many slummy environs which shelters Lot's of low income earner who live around lagos Island ."They tend to occupy this unhealthy and shambolic vicinity as it offers cheaper rent fees and the occupants don't get to pay much as the case of originally well erected houses around the island axis.

This is one of the reason there have been urgent call from different organization in the state for the lagos state government to see the need to invest in house funding in other to meet to the demand of the growing population accross the state.

Many of this occupants have acclimatized to this way of life and they are in no rush whatsoever to leave their current livelyhood they have embraced."A  woman one Mrs Michael who was interviewed said she have lived here with her family for over 5years now and despite the dirty and floody conditions during the Rainey period,"Said the place have really help them in terms of finance.

She also stressed that it would have been better if they were to live in a better place than this but because of the high rate of rent in lagos particularly on the island it make it more difficult to get a sortable apertment.

Mrs Michael explained about their  electricity and good water supply by saying they have way of getting their needs and that since God provide for the animals and trees that He always provide for them too.
